Registration of Foreign Students
According to official statistics, there are 206 universities, 1,785 faculties, 464 colleges, 996 vocational schools and 708 institutes in Turkey. This number is increasing every year and the higher education system is developing.
All 81 cities in Turkey have universities or faculties affiliated with any university. Foreign nationals, as well as Turkish citizens, have the right to study at any university in Turkey.
Education in Turkey…
In order to study in Turkey at the higher education level, foreign students must have obtained a sufficient score from an internationally recognized exam (GCE, SAT, ACT, etc.) or from the Foreign Student Examination (YÖS) conducted by Turkey.

* Copy of the original passport,
* Passport photo,
* Turkish translation of the passport approved by the Turkish Foreign Representatives,
*Original high school diploma or temporary graduation certificate,

* Turkish translation of high school diploma or temporary graduation certificate approved by notary public or Turkish Foreign Representatives,
* The original of the high school diploma, the equivalence certificate obtained from the Provincial Directorates of National Education of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey or the Turkish Foreign Representatives.
* The official transcript approved by the high school directorate showing the grade point average of the courses taken in the last 3 years in high school, and a copy of the Turkish translation approved by the notary public or Turkish Foreign Representatives,
